Number of models and providers with EU processing
215 of 691 models have at least one offer with EU processing. They are offered by 29 of the 58 providers. Providers without any statement on the processing location (not counted as EU): 1.

153 offers changed their price during the month: 99 became cheaper, 45 more expensive, and for 9 one price went up and another down. 37 of them have EU processing.

Not counted as price changes: 29 roundings and changes below 1 %, 27 changes of currency or unit, 43 price fields newly captured or dropped, and 3 implausible jumps that we are still checking.
New models and providers
This is the first edition. Its 691 models and 58 providers form the baseline; from the next edition on, this section lists what is new.
Editorial commentary
In the first month with continuous price tracking, 29 of 58 providers offer at least one model with EU processing; together they cover 215 of the 691 models. Across all offers, price cuts outnumber increases (99 cheaper, 45 more expensive); for offers with EU processing, increases outnumber cuts (20 more expensive, 15 cheaper). As this is the first edition, it shows a baseline – whether a trend emerges will only become clear in comparison with the coming months.
Method
The report covers models priced per 1M tokens or per image, as in the price tables; GPU rental and prices per hour, second or request are left out. EU processing is the provider's statement for the individual offer. If it is missing, the provider's jurisdiction decides: EU or EEA counts as EU processing, anything else does not. A model or provider counts as soon as it has at least one such offer. These are provider statements, not a legal assessment.
Only a price per 1M tokens or per image that our crawler read on the provider's pricing page counts as a price change: per offer, the price at the start of the month (or when first captured during the month) against the price at the end of the month, in the provider's currency. Not counted: intermediate states, exchange-rate movements, AI research, roundings and changes below 1 %, changes of currency or unit, and jumps by more than a factor of 5 – we check those first.
